1. What differentiates BlueSkye Track for ISO implementation, internal auditing or training?

We are certified for auditing and certified in lean six sigma or in quality management..  This matters to our customers because ISO is a system of processes.  To get the most out of ISO you must understand process management, process measures, and process variation.  The combination of a working knowledge of ISO and lean six sigma is powerfully complementary, giving our clients the best auditing and advisory services available anywhere in the world.

2. What timeframes are required for ISO 9000, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, AS 9100 implementation?

Company readiness varies widely so the answer really depends on your availability to work with the consultant. Typically 3 to 4 months of elapsed time is enough to get all the necessary documents and records in place, and then another 3 months of operation of the quality system before registration. Therefore, fast track to registration is typically 6 months. You should plan to add a month or two for ISO 13485, ISO 14001 or AS 9100.

3. How often should we audit our quality management system?

We usually recommend at least quarterly. We've experienced companies that only audit once a year and they usually have tremendous difficulty with this approach. Call us for a discussion on this one.

4. For lean six sigma workshops what is your relationship with Dartmouth College for certification?

We've enjoyed a long relationship with the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth. The college is an ivy league institution and they issue the certification for the various lean six sigma belts. It doesn't get much better than that.
